Description

This is a mosaic of 6 panels (3x2) in the region of Sadr, a large star present on the image in the centre of the Cygnus constellation, comprising a multitude of nebulae.
The satisfaction comes from the fact that making a mosaic with so many panels, at this focal length, seemed unfeasible to me a short time ago, on a personal basis of course.

I wanted to integrate with the butterfly nebula (IC1318) the filaments on the right, having a certain dragon head shape. The crescent area, with that slight oxygen 3 signal and its many stars, gives a volume and a dentity that allows the Butterfly to be slender.

I found this composition balanced and almost poetic.

The mosaic is a HaRGB composition, made with Astro Pixel Processor.
40x180s for each panel in RGB
22x300s for each panel in H-alpha
