Description

Another from the Utah trip. This is IC 443 The Jellyfish Nebula and it's companion Sharpless 249. This is another supernova remnant about 5000 light years away in the constellation Gemini. Like it's cousin the Crab Nebula, it is known to harbor a neutron star in it's core. The two overly bright stars are Tejat and Propus, two of the brighter stars in Gemini. They gave me fits processing this!
