...and new software...

Being at home - alone - sick, I have a little bit of time for processing :-D
Without having new pictures to work on I'm digging in old data for reprocessing.

I took this image of Jupiter in 2010 with my old Magzero MZ5-C camera.
The original processing was done with IRIS:
aligning, stacking, white balance, and processing with wavelets with low processing experience

Since the original capture file was lost I started the new processing on the IRIS unprocessed image:

I performed the new processing completely in PixInsigth with much more experience than in 2010:

White balance (using the whole Jupiter disk as white reference)
Deconvolution with Regularized Van Critter algorithm
Curve trimming
Saturation trimming

In my opinion there is a quantum leap between the two processing!
