Description

3 large (close) galaxies and a number of smaller spirals surrounding it... There's a lot of literal space between the interesting topics but if you align it a certain way, it looks like two eyes, a mouth and a nose. This is all LRGB and what is interesting from a scientific standpoint is the coloration between the two 'eyes' NGC3623 and NGC 3627. There is a distinct bluer color from one and a yellow hue with the other. Galaxy age playing a part in that with younger blue stars vs. older stars or a tighter spiral? Curious what the official reason is.
