Description

Here's a greyscale version of a pic I did last year (as I did this one too) of ic2602, the Southern Pleaides. This time, taken with t9 at iTelescope SSO (Siding Springs Observatory). After taking it around 30th May of last year, I promptly forgot about it and didn't realise I hadn't done anything to it until just recently. So, I thought I'd better pull my finger out and do something...and here it is, in all its luminance glory 🙂 Also, didn't realise just how long the subs were on this pic, at 5mins (300sec), this pic is a combo of nine subs and is 45mins in length!!! Apart from the cluster itself, this pic contains inumerable background stars. One wonders just how many "bugs upstairs" there are floating around on the planets of those stars...and even inbetween them in starships of all kinds. There's also some dust clouds foating about the pic as evident by those dark and sometimes whispy areas peppered about the scene. One day, I'll gather all the colour info and add that to the pic, so it's all in technicolour.
