Description

NGC 2070 or more commonly known as the Tarantula Nebula is a popular target in the southern hemisphere. This large emission nebula is an extremely luminous non-stellar object about 160,000 light-years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud with an estimated diameter of 652 light-years. It is the most active region of star formation in the Local Group of galaxies. I've chosen the HSO base palette with the strongest 2 channels applied to Red and Blue.
