Description

While shooting an ultra wide-field in Cygnus I came across this area that I have not seen before.  I decided decided to use another scope (my 600mm) to study it a bit more.

At the time I didn’t know what it’s called but I thought it’s pretty cool, especially the ring near center.  I later found out the name and that it was previously discovered by Pascal Le Dû.
As I built time on it and processed the data I decided to keep adding more time.  I shot it in SHO but the signals are quite weak. So this is mostly HSS palette as Oii is virtually non-existent.  I'd like to call it, Rings of Fire.  There are a few rings in the detail, just to the left of the larger ring. Check it out and you'll see.

Shot from my backyard, Bortle 8.  Processed in Pixinsight.
