Description

The Triangulum Galaxy is a spiral galaxy 2.73 million light years from Earth in the constellation Triangulum. It is also known as M33 or NGC598. The Triangulum Galaxy is the third-largest member of the Local group of galaxies. It is one of the most distant permanent objects that can be viewed with the naked eye at a very dark site. Among Triangulum's most distinctive features is NGC 604, a region of star birth more than 1,300 light years across — or about 100 times bigger than the Orion Nebula.

I shot this from my back-yard in Massachusetts over several nights in September 2020.  HaRGB data from FSQ106, QSI683, Astrodon Filters, and Paramount MX+.
