Description

This is one of my first results with my new deep sky setup. The famous duet of M8 aka the Lagoon Nebula (on the right) and M20 aka Trifid Nebula (on top left). They both lie almost 4100 light years away from Earth, at the direction close to our Milky Way's center, and consist of ionized Hydrogen emitting clouds, reflecting clouds (the blue part of Trifid) as well as star clusters and star forming regions. I could have taken more exposure time on this, but it has to wait. This was mostly a test on the setup capabilities.
