Description

It is an emission nebula located in the constellation of Swan at 6000 al from the earth and that reminds us of the tulip flower. It is quite recent since it was included in the Stewart Sharpless catalog in 1959. Interestingly, it is close to the microquasar Cygnus X-1, the place of the supposed first black hole.
