Description

1h 50min of integral Ha exposure of the area in halfway between Alpha Cen and Beta Cen centered on TYC9006-1446-1 (HD 125534) star [3] (marked by a crosshair on the image revisions B, E-J) - captured remotely using Telescope #3 (ASA-N D = 0.5m f/3.8, FLI ProLine 16803) system of ChileScope on Apr 14, 2023.

It appears that at least some features visible in Ha correlate with structures visible in the the WSSA Diffuse dust 12 mkm survey [4], and even the shape of the "great dust hook" is reproduced up to an extent in the Ha image, but the brightest features visible in that structure in 12 mkm are missing completely in the visible range.
