Description

NGC 3344 is a barred spiral galaxy in Leo Minor. It lies around 22.5 million light years away. Apparent magnitude is 10.5 and size is 7.1 × 6.5 arc minutes.

Date: 1/15-3/26 2019, processed 2/15/2021

Location: New Ringgold PA

Optics: Celestron EdgeHD 1100 on Paramount MX

Camera: ZWO ASI1600MM

Optics: Starizona Hyperion f/8 12.5 inch, FL 2540 mm on Paramount ME

Camera: Apogee U8300 for Lum

Guiding: ST-402 on Innovations Foresight On-Axis Guider and STL-11000 Self guiding

Exposure: LRGB: L:64x10 R:13x10 min, G:10x10 min, B:10x10 min for a total of 19 hrs (114 subs at avg of 600 sec)

Processing: Image acquisition using CCD Autopilot. Initial processing was done using Maxim DL with subsequent processing with Photoshop.
