Description

Certainly not as easy to capture as the Trifid 🤪.  But just as rewarding...especially from my B7 backyard.  I especially like the core's dark veins and the dark dust in the background.  Most of the luminance was taken on the waxing gibbous moon...GraXpert was a big help in saving this data.  The Northern Trifid SH2-222  is a diffuse nebula located in the constellation of Perseus and lies within the giant molecular cloud known as the California Molecular Cloud.
