Description

A part of NGC 7822 ... Second time i have shot this with this set up , this version much better NGC 7822 is an emission nebula located in Cepheus, about 3,000 lightyears away. It’s a violent, chaotic deep-sky region where young stars are being born, their powerful radiation ionising the surrounding gas and causing it to glow. These energetic stellar winds are also carving out the dusty streams and pillars seen throughout the nebula (hence the title lol)There are plenty of pillars of creation in here , centred on the big fat one

It took ages (for me) 14 hrs of data shot over 7 nights over three weeks (15th August to 7th Sept)

This is my second process, didn't like the first one - lots of problems with halos round the stars in 0iii, in fixing that stars looked terrible plus didn't pull out the oiii well enough

Stars are much reduced in this one and Oiii better

63 Ha, 61 Sii, 47 Oiii all 5 mins = 14 hrs 15 mins
