Description

Supernova remnants are some of the strangest and most interesting objects in the sky and Jellyfish Nebula is no exception. I spent a lot of time imaging this object with an Optolong L-Extreme, but the bright stars produced massive, bright halos I couldn't process out so I tossed all of that data and went back to it with my IDAS NBZ. There was still a large, faint halo around Propus (the orange star at the end of the tentacles) but it wasn't too hard to remove.
