Description

Our Milky Way is so rich of nebulae that one can always find something to capture. Actually, there's so much out there that it's sometimes too difficult to make a choice. Fortunately, I could make a choice and it fell to vdB 133 and close-by Sh 2-106. The latter, a star forming region, was captured by the Hubble Space Telescope in an amazing image.
I guess it's a bad idea to link to a HST image if you want to keep the audience's attention on your work but I'll do it anyways: https://esahubble.org/images/heic1118a

The fact that you're reading this line shows that you made the way back. Thank you, I appreciate it!

Maybe a few final words about the imaging:
The image is essentially a RGB where the Ha region is enhanced through the Ha data. Since I've only 5 subframes of Ha data, I was worried that integration might leave to much noise. As it turned out, the data was surprisingly clean (I really love my CCD) and could be well integrated. Even rejecting satellite trails wasn't a significant issue without rejecting to much useful signal.

So much about it. I hope you enjoy and feel free to comment!
