Description

The Small Sagittarius Star Cloud, located in the Sagittarius constellation (if you hadn't guessed), is about 10k light years from Earth and is 600 light years wide. There's a lot going on in this image, the star cloud is on the right side and sandwiched between some dark areas, dark nebula.

I've caught Omega Nebula before along with Eagle Nebula, but had not tried the nearby Small Sagittarius Star Cloud before. As is the norm for non-galaxy targets this time of the year I have to capture this between 2 houses and didn't get much time, 50 minutes in this case. But at f/2 it seems plenty!
