La nebulosa 7822 es un complejo de formación de estrellas donde se encuentra el cúmulo globular conformado por Berkeley 59, a una distancia de 1 Kpc (unos 3300 años luz), siendo un sistema binario con su estrella principal (DB+66 1673) del tipo OSV. Ella es la fuente primaria que ilumina la nebulosa y forma los pilares de creación (como M16), zona de creación estelar. Esta estrella es una de las más caliente y brillantes de las cercanas al sol con una temperatura cercana a 45000 K y unas 100.000 veces más brillante que el Sol.

El cúmulo NGC 7762 se encuentra en la zona inferior izquierda.

Nebula 7822 is a star formation complex where the globular cluster formed by Berkeley 59 is found, at a distance of 1 Kpc (about 3300 light years), being a binary system with its main star (DB + 66 1673) of the type OSV. She is the primary source that illuminates the nebula and forms the pillars of creation (like M16), the zone of stellar creation. This star is one of the hottest and brightest of those close to the sun with a temperature close to 45,000 K and about 100,000 times brighter than the Sun.

The cluster NGC 7762 is in the lower left area.
