Description

NGC 1514 is a planetary nebula located in Taurus near the border of Perseus. It was discovered by William Herschel on November 13, 1790. It is also called The Crystal Ball Nebula.
I got several nights of imaging last week but ended up throwing away about a third of my sub frames because the were really blurry. Something happened one of the nights. Some faint clouds or haze I don't know. So this image was made with less data than I would have liked. If we get some more clear nights soon I might add the data and redo this.
