Description

The Dark Doodad Nebula is located in the far south, in the constellation Musca, The Fly.

The cosmic cloud is seen against an incredible rich starfield, stretching for about 3 degrees and displaying the beutiful globular star cluster NGC 4372 in its end. The Dark Doodad is around 700 light-years distant and over 30 light-years long.
