Description

While preparing my camera gear for a timelapse for northern lights, on Monday, 27.09.2021 I was watching to the sky. Suddenly I've found a really abnormal light moving fast towards north-west. After a few secnonds I've understood that it must be an upper stage of a rocket.

Frankly, the foreground of the picture is ugly - but I didn't have time to switch my position! I had great luck. The Atlas-V, started in Vandenberg around 3 hours before. I've captured obviously the 4th and last main engine active phase of the upper stage!

The picture is a stack of 15 frames, with 14mm, F 2.4, 2,5 Sec. ISO 3200 each. StarStax Software has shown the best result (Sequator and similar software was good too, but not the best)
