Description

M33 Tiangulum Galaxy is 2,73 ly from the Earth. It is believed to be the smallest spiral member of the local group together with the Andromeda Galaxy and the Milky Way and is believed to be a satelite of the Andromeda Galaxy. It has a blue shift and approaches us with a speed of 182 km/sec. Eventually both will merge with the Milky way.The first photo’s ( 5 x 4 min) are taken during the Starparty in Wateren Netherlands (SQM 20,9) on the 14th of October 2023.The second serie of photo’s (60 x 2 min) is taken from my back garden in Haarlem (SQM 19,0). I used in both cases a Redcat 71 mm  F 4,9 with a Canon RP (mod) and CLS  filter.According to the formula 2,5^(SQM 1 – SQM 2) both series give more or less the same contribution. You can than see how bad the lightpollution is for our hobby.
