Description

M91, or NGC 4548 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the Virgo Cluster, in the constellation Coma Berenices.  It is listed at magnitude 13.6, and is about 62 mly away.  It is nearest M88 and M90 galaxies, and adjacent to Markarian's Chain of galaxies, so it is often overlooked.  I found this galaxy a little challenging to process due to the Bortle 5 skies, and not using any filters with my OSC.
