Description

Here is the last of my 3 images I captured in the past week, this is one night of imaging collecting just over 5 hours of data.  I used HSO filters to capture and stacked and combined the images in APP, I tried all three combinations (HOO, HSO and SHO).  I like the more traditional Ha heavy image and the Hubble palette the best.   You can also see just a bit of the Pelican Nebula at the top of the image.

NGC 7000 is a large emission nebula covering and area more than 4 times the size of the moon.  The North American and Pelican Nebula are parts of the same interstellar cloud of ionized hydrogen.  NGC 7000 is estimated to be around 1,800 light year away and about 100 l ight year across.
