Description

The Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) is in the final stages of commissioning a robotic telescope in the Sierra Mountains of California. The scope will be widely available to RASC members for science and astrophotography. The society is also developing educational and public outreach programs. This image was created from early data from that telescope. This represents about 19 hours of narrowband data, mixed as SHO pallette, with RGB stars.
