Description

After taking a month off, I finally got back out an imaged the reflection nebula NGC 7129.
I had just upgraded my iOptron CEM120 mount with new firmware and software and wanted to test the upgrade. I found this interesting nebula while scanning through Skytools4 (Imaging).

NGC 7129 is a reflection nebula in Cepheus. It is close to the open cluster NGC 7142. The pink color comes from glowing dust grains on the surface of a bubble being heated by intense light from young stars.
