Description

Also known as Barnard 33, the Horsehead Nebula is located just south of the Easternmost star in Orion's Belt. 1,375 lightyears away, this dark nebula is part of the greater Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. It was first recorded in 1888 by Williamina Fleming at Harvard University.
