Description

Wanted to capture just the sunspot region and some of the background of space to give more depth to the image. During processing wanted to accentuate more the detail in the sunspot region 3590 and 3586. The sun will reach the peak of its current activity cycle in 2024, one year earlier than previous estimates, according to experts at NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC).
