Description

Located 2.3 million light years away, M33 is about 3 times smaller than M31 (and 15 times less massive). Its core is rather small and contains less than 2% of the total galaxy mass.
This galaxy shows a lot of details, specially at high magnification. I tried it here to finish a series of pictures with my small TS71 refractor (f=350mm).
It is interesting to compare this picture with the one I took in october 2017 with a Celestron C8 SCT (standard one, not even Hedge) to see how many more details are visible when going to larger telescope diameters.
