Description

In this attempt I'm trying out longer exposures at 58 seconds.  As a result, I got a lot less usable data due to stars being out of focus and shaking of the tripod.  I only got to use about 60% of the images. It's still a bit noisy, but it still looks better than my first attempt.

Title: Noise Reduction

Description: Found some better ways in Darktable to reduce the noise and bring out more of the dark nebulosity. Specifically, a bright red noise in the dark parts of the image was keeping me from bringing out the rest of the nebulosity. I've found that the higher I set my ISO the more red noise comes out in the darkest parts. I'm going to try longer exposures next time to keep my ISO around 1600 instead.
