NGC 7000 the North American Nebula, the data was collected September 2021. This image is a lot of firsts for me I’m happy how it came out especially for my first image. I have been chipping away for three quarts of a year learning Pixinsight an astronomy image processing software. All along the way I have been also learning how to image with a telescope and how to automate my star tracker for better accuracy. It's a lot to learn all at once. So far I collected data for 4 objects but still have to see if all of it is usable. Thank you Adam Block @adamblock64
adamblockphotos.com for the terrific detail oriented tutorials. All this was a huge learning curve and I couldn’t have done it without these tutorials and content creators on youtube. Hard to explain but when you see an object show up for the first time on your screen there’s nothing like it, its a rush. No matter how challenging life can be when I see the stars in a dark night sky perspectives align. I suddenly realize how minor some things are and how precious life is. Despite how challenging this was for me I really enjoyed the process of learning it, it’s a whole new way of looking at imaging. I still have a long way to go but hope you like it there’s more to come. Start looking up!
