Description

60min of integral Ha exposure of Gum 48a (aka RCW 75) HII region [1] around HD 115669 star, complete with Stock 16 open cluster (very "young" one - "only" of 4–6 Myr of age) [2] at the tip of the "dark plume" structure in the middle of the image - captured remotely using Telescope #5 (Officina Stellare Riccardi-Honders RH200 D = 200mm f/3, FLI Microline 16200) system of ChileScope on Apr 14, 2023. The images is a subframe of the full FOV of the instrument.
