Description

"500 rule" tripod-only imaging of the Milky Way and North America Nebula through Cygnus, through the wondrous Sigma Art 24mm f/1.4. Look at version "B" for a simpler annotation through nova.astronomy.net.

By the 500 rule:

500 / 24mm / 1.6 = 13 seconds

is an upper bond to how long you can image without a star track to avoid star trails. I rounded down to 10 seconds.
