Description

This is a gorgeous Globular Cluster at the Eye piece.
The dynamic range of the human favours this stunning object on a good telescope with the right eyepiece. I recommend a 35 Panoptic with an a Paracorr on very good 20" F3.8. Ball bearings exploding outwards. I've also punched through the core of this cluster on a good night at Wiruna with a 3mm radian on a new 18" (SDM mount with a Mark Sutching mirror, being tested on delivery by Peter Reid (it's an open cluster in there!))
When I get my CMOS back, this should be a great candidate for lucky imaging.
Meanwhile, have to put up with a CCD .
