Total integration time = 5.6 hours - I wanted to capture in one night.

I thought I would bring out my 5inch Televue (f/5.2) to see how keep I could go in a Galaxy Cluster in anticipation of getting some super-deep images from JWT. At 1"/px resolution, these galaxies were pretty small, but I sure did find a lot of them.
Abel 2162 is part of the Hercules Superclusters in Corona Borealis (this was was high enough in the sky for me to get all night). The member galaxies have redshifts between 0.03 and 0.04 - meaning they are approximately 500million light-years away and greater - 10 times farther than the Virgo Cluster.

Galaxy hunting is fun, but best done on a zoomed in version. This image is already highly cropped. While I did shoot Ha, there seemed to be little data in it not captured by the red. I was also trying out the NoiseXterminator script which uses artificial intelligence to base noise removal - it did a great job. GHS was use to bring out the galaxies. I deconvolved the image, but it didn't do very much as the galaxies were pretty small to begin with. Not sure if the visible background was caused by atmospheric effects or if it is IFN. I certainly didn't emphasize it, but I left it in just in case it was real.
