Description

The Great Orion Nebula is a deep sky object that has a special meaning to me as it is the nebula I started my astrophotography journey with, back in February 2020.
In November 2020 I had the opportunity to shoot the Orion Nebula again with a lot more experience and also better equipment.
I‘m quite happy with my progress through the months, but there is definitely a lot more to learn for me.

The Great Orion Nebula is an emission nebula named after the constellation you can find it in, Orion, also called „the Hunter“.
In a distance of about 1350 light years it can easily be observed with the naked eye in a dark sky location.
