Description

I have always dreaded imaging broadband targets from my B6/B7 skies. Reflection and dark nebula are typically the most difficult from my location. The result always leaves more to be desired. It also does not help being locked in a race with a moon that is getting ever so bright and sets later and later. I struggle with processing these targets but I am proud of the what my rather standard C11 could muster.

I have attempted the neighboring Iris nebula in the past with the AT130EDT, and now the Ghost with the C11. This is a striking nebula located in constellation Cepheus. This field of dust and embedded stars is 1,200 light years away. and is 2 light years across.
