Description

I was fortunate to get one clear night in between several days of bad weather, just a few days after the Supernova SN2023ixf in M101 was discovered. Of course I didn’t want to let this chance pass. I was surprised to find that it appears very blue and indeed very bright. Rochesterastronomy.org reported it to be around mag 10.8 around the imaging date.
