Description

For the moonlight-floodet nights, I have fortunately found a new supernova in a beautiful host galaxy.
It stands high in Leo and is visible to me all night.

With around mag 16 it is not a really bright one, but not to difficult, too.

After analyzing the subs and before processing them I usually start a quick search for asteroids and this time I found a really fast one. My motor (or focuser) granted me a pause of an hour , so you may find the motion of #11116 more recognizable with that gap in it's trail.

There is another fancy object in the image. The tiny galaxy left of the two stars in the upper middle reminds me on Hoag's Object. It has the euphonious name 2MASX J10462467+1334226 is 1.9 arcsec small with a mag of around 13.5 and is a type Sb. It seems to be 1.2 BLY away (blows my mind )!

Have fun and thanks for watching!
Mike
