Description

So, clearly, I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to planetary photography. Also, an 8" scope isn't the best tool for the job. The seeing wasn't what I should have been shooting in. All of which combined to produce a "less than stellar" first attempt at photographing one of our solar system neighbors. But I had a lot of fun trying! It was kind of like the first time I looked through the telescope and saw the moon. That sense of awe at looking at something that I had never seen before. I know it isn't a great image, but I had fun producing it in any event.
