Description

What to expect when doing galaxy imagery with f 11,25? I wanted to give it a try last night. Conditions were not too bad at all. Unfortunatelly I was not able to use my ASI 2600 MM Pro for an LRGB approach since I had to ship it back to the vendor since some oily fluid was emerging across the sensor glas all of a sudden and the artefacts stemming from it could not be calibrated away.

So I used the 183 MCP and I thought with that f ratio 180 second subs should be ok. When looking at the stars it might have been a bit too abitious! So I did 81 subs, made flats, flat darks and darks and here is the result. Not quite happy with it but to be honest since I missed alomst the entire galaxy season this year (only managed to do NGC 4395) I add it to this year's galaxy collection :-)

Thanks for watching!
