Description

Taken from the Kohala coast on Hawaii Island. When the trade-winds blow, the air becomes very clear and stars are visible right after sunset. Kohala sunsets are very colorful, typically showing the green flash and even occasionally a blue flash at the last moments when the sun finally settles below the horizon. About 15 - 20 minutes after sunset the stars come out, and even the Milky Way becomes visible.
