Description

LBN 406, also known as The Laughing Skull Nebula, is about 2,600 light-years away. Together with some other faint nebulae, they constitute a large interstellar molecular cloud that permeates many stars in the constellation Draco.

Through this molecular cloud, many distant galaxies can be seen. The most peculiar one, PGC 58928, is about 440 million light-years away from us. It looks exactly like Saturn with a ring, which is super cute.
