Description

It has been very cloudy here for weeks and this was the first night that gave me 2 whole hours of clear skies from 9pm to 11 pm.  I used them to image the Iris Nebula in Cepheus with my FSQ106N F5 fluorite refractor with my ZWO ASI6200MC astro camera.  I used 2 minute subs and was able to image for the "whole" two hours.  I didn't expect anything much and thought I'd definitely have to add more time to this in the future, but actually it came out better than I'd thought. This scope/camera combination allows cropping to pretty good image scale.  Post-processing this darkish dusty nebula was tough.
