Description

My longest integration project to date, imaged over three nights on November 2020 and October 2021, combining 10h20m of broadband data using the Optolong L-Pro filter and adding 4h8m of Hydrogen Alpha (Ha Red) highlights with the narrow-band Optolong L-Extreme filter.

Messier 33 or NGC 598 is a Spiral Galaxy 2.73 million light-years from Earth in the constellation Triangulum, the third-largest member of the Local Group of galaxies behind the Andromeda Galaxy and our Milky Way.

Visible with the naked eye in extremely dark skies far from light pollution, it is an awesome and easy target to image with its size and brightness.
