Description

This planetary nebula in Cygnus was recorded with the Lacerta 250 and ASI1600 between August and December 2022, ca 32h in SHO.
The object MWP1 (Motch-Werner-Pakull 1), better known as the Methuselah Nebula, is a very faint bipolar planetary nebula in Cygnus at ca 4500 ly.

In contrast to most objects, the H-alpha signal in this nebula is much weaker than the Oiii signal, despite recording about 18h Ha.
I also recorded Sii for a few hours but there was no signal on the stack.
Due to the weakness of Ha, the central red area may be less clear than expected.

So the image was processed as HOO.
