Description

This galaxy is known as an intermediate spiral galaxy and resides some 30 million light years away in the southern constellation Pavo. It is considered a close analogue to the Milky Way and the image contains a companion galaxy that appears similar to the Large Magellanic Cloud. I took this back in September 2023 and had been sitting on it ever since. It took me a while to find the time to finish of the processing.
