Description

This is really a test of the TEC160FL with the TEC field flattener and ZWO asi 6200MC filling out the rest of the image train.   I was curious how much additional resolution could be obtained using the TEC160FL with a field flattener since I had recently captured the same target using the AP130 with a field flattener and a ZWO asi 2600mm (with RGB filters).   I would have expected the TEC160FL to deliver more resolution, but its extra reach and aperture is offset by the monochrome 2600 camera (vs the OSC 6200mc).   The two results look remarkably similar and it requires some effort to find the advantage of the TEC160FL for this target and its background.   I should really have used the same camera to do a fair comparison and may make such a comparison in the future.
