Description

NGC 3718 (Arp 214) is a warped spiral galaxy located 42 million light years from us in the constellation Ursa Major. The galaxy above is NGC 3729 and is close enough to interact with NGC 3718. They are both members of the Ursa Major group. The cluster of 5 galaxies to the left is Arp 322 or Hickson 56. They are much farther away at about 300 million light years.
