Description

"Spotted by Charles Messier in 1764, M27 was the first planetary nebula ever discovered. ...resides more than 1,200 light-years away in the constellation Vulpecula. With an apparent magnitude of 7.5
The nebula is the result of an old star that has shed its outer layers in a glowing display of color. With new data I wanted to work on the Dumbbell Nebula and see what I could achieve from its beautiful details. However, the sessions were made with a light pollution filter only and at that time there was also no Canon Ra camera that could have provided more information about Ha and [OIII] that this planetary nebula has.

Stacks of DSS and Siril were made, processed and then joined to proceed to make the starless with Starnet ++, the nebula was worked separately trying to highlight the details and the blue part of the nebula that extended towards the outskirts of the poles that is very dim and then the stars were incorporated.

It was much better than the first time, but surely we will return to this nebula at some point when we have new data.
